5.1. Methodological overview

The learning process of this subject is based on…

The subject Special Administrative Law includes theorical classes, case studies, work with electronic resources, reading of judgments and papers and autonomous work of the student.

The method adopts the following strategies:

1. To do that the student is a copartner of the learning process that demostrate that participants are able to continue learning on their own after the class has ended.

2. To train in social and ethical values.

3. To train in quality, to promote education based on active and participative methods.

5.2. Learning tasks

The student will be helped to achieve these aims by the following activities….

The teachers used the technique of the master class to introduce students to the fundamental principles of the subject matter and in others, activities based on the student's personal work consisting of reading and preparation of texts, in implementing theoretical knowledge to practical cases, etc. Also possible that teachers indicate to students the materials to be read and work previously, to carry out a theoretical class or practice of dialogue and interactive way, which can be formulated by the students themselves questions, issues and problems arising.

I. Environmental Law

Lesson 1. Introduction to Environmental Law. Historic development and principles of European Union.

Lesson 2. Access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters. Environmental liability with regard to the prevention and remedying of environmental damage.

Lesson 3. Assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. Assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment. Assessment of ambient air quality.

Lesson 4. Financial support mechanisms as a means of promoting sustainable development. Community eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS). EU Ecolabel.

Lesson 5. Environmental  administrative offences and criminal offences

II. Urban development planning Law

Lesson 6. Introduction to planning and building Law.

Lesson 7. Urban planning.

Lesson 8. Landed property.

III. Local Government Law
